Partner Policy

Who this policy applies to

This Partner Policy applies to all businesses and individuals registered as service providers on PetLover, including veterinary clinics, pet spas, pet sitters/walkers, and pet hotels.

1. Partner Registration

To become a listed partner on PetLover, you must:

  • Submit a complete and accurate registration through our official partner registration page.
  • Provide valid contact information, business address, and a description of services offered.
  • Pass a manual review by the PetLover admin team (typically 1โ€“2 business days).
  • Agree to these Partner Policy terms and our general Terms of Service.

PetLover reserves the right to approve or reject any application without providing a reason.

2. Partner Categories

PetLover currently accepts the following partner types:

3. Partner Obligations

As a PetLover partner, you agree to:

  • Maintain all required business licenses, permits, and insurance as required by local law.
  • Provide services as described in your listing accurately and professionally.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Keep your business information (address, hours, contact details) up to date.
  • Adhere to animal welfare standards and applicable regulations at all times.
  • Not engage in discriminatory practices toward pet owners or their pets.

4. Listing Visibility

Your listing will be visible to PetLover mobile app users only after admin approval. Approved listings may be:

  • Approved โ€” visible to all users in your service area.
  • Suspended โ€” temporarily hidden pending review of a complaint or policy issue.
  • Rejected / Removed โ€” permanently removed for policy violations.

PetLover reserves the right to suspend or remove any listing at any time for violations of this policy.

5. Commission & Fees

PetLover may earn revenue from partners through the following models, which will be communicated clearly before activation:

  • Monthly listing fee โ€” a fixed monthly subscription to maintain your listing visibility.
  • Booking commission โ€” a percentage of each booking made through the platform.
  • Featured placement โ€” optional paid promotion within search results.

Current fee structures will be communicated at the time of approval. PetLover will provide 30 days' advance notice before any fee changes take effect.

6. Content & Branding

Partners may submit photos, descriptions, and other content for their listing. By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You own or have the right to use all submitted content.
  • The content accurately represents your business and services.
  • The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

PetLover may edit or remove content that violates our guidelines or misrepresents the service.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Pet owners may leave reviews and ratings for partner listings. PetLover does not censor honest reviews. Partners may not:

  • Offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews.
  • Attempt to have negative reviews removed without valid cause.
  • Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings in any way.

Partners may report reviews they believe are fraudulent or violate our community guidelines.

8. Data Privacy

PetLover collects and processes partner business data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your personal or business data to third parties.

Customer contact information obtained through the platform may only be used to fulfill booked services and may not be used for unsolicited marketing.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the partnership at any time. Partners wishing to remove their listing may contact support. PetLover may terminate a partnership immediately and without notice in cases of:

  • Repeated policy violations.
  • Animal abuse or neglect.
  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation.
  • Legal action or regulatory violations.
